We’re delighted that you’d like to become a member of the Midlands Heavy Horse Association (MHHA) — a welcoming community of people dedicated to preserving, promoting, and enjoying the working heavy horse.

Before completing your application form, please set up your annual membership payment by Direct Debit. Our payments are securely managed by GoCardless, our trusted Direct Debit provider.

Terms and Conditions
  • The Midlands Heavy Horse Association takes every responsible precaution to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all, at every event.
  • In order that these measures can be effective, everyone should take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and should obey the instructions of the organising committee officials and stewards.
  • It is imperative that all members bringing horses to events have adequate Public Liability Insurance and that all documents should be available for inspection if required.
  • The committee reserves the right to refuse participation of any member or equine whose behaviour is deemed to be inappropriate or unacceptable.
Event Rules

When attending MHHA events the following rules must be adhered to:

  1. All dogs will be kept on leads.
  2. Equines will be properly supervised at all times.
  3. Children will be supervised by an adult.
  4. All harness and vehicles are in good working order.
